    Dear customer,
We are sincerely sorry that the BOOX device currently does not support upgrading the Android version. However, BOOX is committed to providing free firmware updates for all models for more than 3 years since the product launch date. Many thanks for your understanding.

really? is that true? the device costs around 800-900 euros, and it has the 13th (old) version of Android. you are currently releasing books with version 15. why not release an update from version 13 to version 15 for such an expensive device? I plan to return the device to the store because I am not satisfied with version 13 (it is outdated).

So ... let me get this right ... I purchased a premium device Tab C Ultra Pro ... for a premium price ... and it is not on your roadmap to update to Android 15? And Firmware 4.1 so I can get infinite notes? How is that possible?

    Hi Alin,
The Infinite notes feature is currently only available in firmware 4.1. The firmware 4.1 has not been released for the Tab Ultra C Pro yet. However, our tech team is working on adapting the new firmware to the Tab Ultra C Pro and will release the firmware once it is stable. In this case, we would appreciate it if you could kindly wait for the new firmware.

I hope you update your Tab X to Android 15, otherwise it will be very bad for your premium e-book sales. You have the best books, and I hope the updates will be just as good and will be supported by users. Thank you.

    +1

There are several things (apps and especially managed work profile) requirements that need at least Android 14 at this point, so the older Android 13 is becoming a usability/usefulness issue.

Happy to beta test something if there's any ongoing efforts already.
