Touchscreen responsiveness?
Hi, I just received a Nova 3, which is my first ever eink device. I've been working on setting it up but have become increasingly frustrated with the poor touch sensitivity and am wondering if this is normal behavior for this device. It seems like the screen goes slightly to sleep and I often find I have to tap on icons twice or repeat gestures. If I do several operations quickly it works fine, but if I pause for a minute and then try to do a swipe gesture, for example, it will not work and will either register as a screen tap or nothing at all.
Additionally, I really wish I could set up the physical button to work as the task switcher. Even better would be to have double click operation that would immediately switch to the last used app (just how the switcher behaves in stock Android).
Anyway, is there a possibility that my device is a lemon or is this immensely frustrating behavior just what y'all are used to from these touch screens?

Do you have a screen protector applied on the screen?
I have the screen protector offered by Boox applied to my Note Air screen and I do experience reduced touch sensitivity every so often.
I once suspected that certain "areas" of my screen were a bit less sensitive but I can typically repeat the tap on the same screen location (a bit harder or with more finger contact) and the action will be successful.
I think I'm expecting it to work like my iPad where I have no issues with gestures/touches at all (even with a screen protector applied).
