Feature Request: Notepad pages tagging
Hi,
I have a boox air. I take a lot of handwritten notes. I would like to tag certain pages of my handwritten notes in the notepad. And it would be great if I could nest those tags in a hierarchy.
Tagging handwritten notes can be found in Supernote. And tag hierarchies can be found on Evernote, as examples.
Thanks

Hi, i agree!
Bookmarks and hyperlink would be great, but i think that today the most powerfull serching and organizing tool is a tag system.
For example if you tag two page on two different notebook as "hearth failure" and you search for it than you should br able to find all the page with that tag, also if indifferent document, and choose what you want.
In this case would bebetter be able to tag page and not only document, on this way the searching will be more efficient, and you would be adressed directly to the page wkth the topic you are looking for!
Lastly would be nice if syncronizing the document on cloud also the document tags a will be saved. If manage and move a lot of document, lost all tags would be very annoyng..

Hello, can we have an update about this? Be able to search page with words tag from different document will bring the device to another level of productivity. Some news?

Dear customer,
We are sorry that we are currently don't have the tag function for the notepad. However, we have been recorded your suggestion and will forward it to our tech team to improve the notepad in the future updates. We appreciated your effort and understanding.0 -
Thank you very much, we appretiace it. Just one precisation, would be very impprtant be able to tag the singlempage of the document, not the entire notebook. This make a lot of difference in terms of functionality.
If you make more notepad with different topic than tagging only the document it would involve looking up the topic in the notebook itself, which could take a long time if the document is long.
The usefulness of this feature is instead that by tagging the page, then once you perform the search, you can directly view all the relevant pages of the different documents, going directly to the page of the document you want.
I apologize for the clarification but it is a detail of no small importance.
Thank you.

I just asked a related question.
You can title single pages in a notebook. Bt as far as I can see thst title is "dead" - you can *see* it in the viewer but you cannot *use* it.
It would be easy to make thst tilt a tag: annotate the PDF with it when exported, title the Evernote page (not just time abd date) PDF search for it etc

This is definitely something that needs to be included in a future release. There are only a handful of things keeping this device from ticking all the boxes for me:
The ability to -
1. Re-order the pages in a notebook
2. Transfer pages between notebooks
3. Create a notebook from the selected page(s)
4. Add tags to notebooks AND individual pages
5. Link to internal & external content (Wiki-like)
6. Export notebooks with all of their content... and the fact that these issues can all be fixed via software/firmware updates gives me a lot of confidence in the untapped potential of this already pretty awesome piece of tech.

Hi Jessie,
We appreciate your suggestion. Actually, the following feature is supported:
1. Re-order the pages in a notebook
2. Transfer pages between notebooks
3. Create a notebook from the selected page.
Since it is able to copy the page to another notebook, it is possible to create a new notebook first. After that, copy the pages from another notebook and paste them into the new one.
4. Add tags to notebooks AND individual pages
It is possible to add a title for each page. This feature can also be used as a tag.
6. Export notebooks with all of their content
It is possible to select multiple pages and click on the "share" button to export the selected page.
For the feature of linking to internal & external content (Wiki-like). We have forwarded your suggestion to our tech team and we will do our best to improve the software of our device. Many thanks for your feedback and understanding.
