Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience.

    1. You could check if the server of your device is in US. You could check in "settings" → "More Settings" →"server selection"

    2. If server is in US but still unable to log in Amazon, then you could try uninstall the app and reinstall it again to check if that helps.

    3. If reinstall couldn't help then please submit bugs/software questions on Feedback via Settings/ Feedback on your device. Please make sure that you tick the option "send logs" while sending the Feedback so that we can analyze and diagnose the exact problem better. Our technical team will reply to you in 2 working days after you submit the Feedback.

One thing to check is the number of Kindle app registrations associated with your account.

Folks who own a lot of devices or are into installing android roms a lot tend to accumulate Kindle registrations quickly.

Use a browser to log into Amazon.com, choose Account, Your devices and content, manage devices, Amazon apps installed on devices, select Kindle.  This will present you with the management page.  Just hit the deregister button for any devices you don't need Kindle app on anymore.

I think it's like 20 max or something like that.  Maybe they've changed that number, I don't remember.

Anyway, if you think you've maxed out registrations, try removing a couple you don't need and re-attempt your Note Air Kindle app login.

    Good luck!

I had the same issue and none of the above advice was useful.  There is a message about installing the older version of Kindle though no way to do this easily out of the box.  Installing the older version did make Kindle accessible.

You need to navigate to a website using the included browser, then download the APK and go locate the APK in storage and install it from there.

Be sure to delete the existing Kindle App prior to installing the older version.

I looked at what I have installed on my Note Air (bought this year).  I had Kindle app for Android 9\10 V8.40.0.100 (as offered via "App Store" app).  This has allowed me to log in and read books.

I just now ran the "Play Store" app (I have always had Google Play enabled) and was offered an "Update" for the Kindle app.  I ran the update and now have this version on my Note Air:

This version also allows me to log in and read books.

My question is, have you tried updating Kindle app through Play Store? Do you see an "Update" available also?  Maybe that will allow you to login?

I had the same problem, but now it's fixed and I am using the updated Kindle version from the Play Store. Two things I did:

    1. I changed the date and time to my time zone (used automatic)

    2. First installed the Kindle app from the Boox App Store, then went to the Play Store and searched for the Kindle app which now showed "Update". Once updated I was able to log in and see all my books
