Poke2 connected to Wifi now say 'Device is starting'
I hadn't used my Poke2 for a couple of months, when i turned it on, the bookshelf all displayed, after i connected to wifi, after a few minutes, the homescreen disappeared and i only see 'Device is starting...' message in middle of screen.
The notification pane can be dragged down and toggled (and they work, such as turning on / off backlight etc). The navigation ball works as well (floating, moved, pop up buttons work).
However the main area where the bookshelf is displayed - is blank except the 'Device is starting...' msg. I have left it on overnight, does not complete loading...
I wonder if going online - it made a call back home, which then bricked itself.

+ Connected it via usb to laptop and it is recognised, i can even access the storage.
So it would appear only the launcher is stuck.
Would prefer not to factory reset the device...please help0 -
Dear customer,
We apologize for the inconvenience. We are wondering would you be able to turn on and off the device when connecting the power source? Does the same issue occur after you have rebooted the device? If it is, there might be an issue with the software, and you are suggested to submit feedback via the link https://push.boox.com. Our tech team will analyze the issue for you.0 -
The agent at push was helpful. I got the instructions to factory reset and i am back in.
Thank you.0
