My Boox Poke 2 won't turn on

Hello Boox Help Team. I need help because my Poke 2 cannot get turned on while the battery is still on 50%. I've tried to charge it and the screen is turning into the charge state (blank with the battery icon in the center) and the light on the power button turn into purple then red. But when I try to turn the device on it wont do it (no blue light in the power button). What can I do? Thanks in advance.

    I have the same problem. Watch the video for description. Any ideas how to fix it?

    Good video - I still have the same problem aftter sending  my Poke 2 back and getting a new device sent to me. But this has same issue.

    Even at 50% the Poke 2 will suddenly turn off and show the request to charge page as in the video above. It is OK if you have a power cable to get it to turn on again but when travelling this is not possible.

    I have had the same issue for several months now and support has been very slow and keeps asking for more confirmation. 

    How did you replace the battery exactly? It sounds like that would fix my problem, too. I bought mine directly from Onyx but still getting unhelpful responses from their support. Other than this I really love my Poke2.

    I bought a larger capacity replacement battery on aliexpress and installed it myself. No issues at all and lasts even longer.

    Onyx boox support has been absent on this issue.

    I bought the battery here. It lasts super long. You can follow the instruction on reddit as Norm posted. I followed that post too.

    Thank you both so much. Truly appreciate it.

    I've had it for 2 years but I really didn't use it very much and now that I've had more time the battery dies so quickly. I have to charge it every 2-3 days or roughly 3-4 hours of reading.

    I will check out both of those links.
