    Yes, it doesn't work with Debian Linux 11 (Bullseye) with a 64 Bit processor, too.

    It starts but it doesn't connect.

    Any plans to fix it and/or release a Linux 64 Bit executable as well?

    Using Boox Mira Pro 25.3" eInk Monitor on Linux Zorin OS based off Ubuntu.

    I completely agree! Especially considering many people purchasing Boox eInk monitors may be using it for coding, and quite a few are probably on Linux..,because well Windows is bloated, and lacks any form of privacy whatsoever.

    Keeping functional Linux software is a selling point..add a nice logo on the Boox Mira Pro homepage and feature page, showing it uses Native Linux software, and you will acquire an entire demographic of new clients.

    I have done that 4 months ago.
    I supplied them with the full output of your app started from a terminal so they can see the error messages.

    This was the reply i got:

    "Thank you for your interest in ONYX devices.
    Connect you PC with the help of both cables - HDMI and USB with the device and install a special utility for LINUX from here  http://zh.boox.com/down/"

    This is not only useless but also shows that they did not even read the feedback.
    It is an automatic reply.

    Dear customer,

    We apologize for the inconvenience. In this case, please try with the steps below for Mira Linux setup and check if it works:

    1.Go to/etc/udev/rules.d/ located location and create a 58-hid.rules file

    2.Then copy the following rules into the 58-hid.rules file

    SUBSYSTEM=="input", GROUP="input", MODE="0666"

    SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0416", ATTRS{idProduct}=="5020", MODE:="666", GROUP="plugdev"

    KERNEL=="hidraw*", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0416", ATTRS{idProduct}=="5020", MODE="0666", GROUP="plugdev"

    3.Finally, reload and restart udev

    Terminal:

    sudo service udev reload

    sudo service udev restart

    With the udev rule, the Mira connects properly, but everything else is still not working:

    The settings are not persisted, neither does the import/export functionality work. I have to adjust everything again and again when plugging in the monitor. The shortcuts also do not work.

    The appImage for Linux is also a suboptimal solution. Will you provide a proper program at some point?

    If this does not get solved, the monitor is practically useless.

    Any news on the issue?

    I've been troubleshooting the Mira not connecting issue and I just wanted to say that the udev rules given above don't work if the Mira is attached to a usb-hub.

    Connecting to my computer directly fixed everything, just wanted to write that here just in case anyone else is having a similar issue
