Default Note app - how to quickly erase handwritten letters

I have Nova Air with the provided BOOX pen which doesn't have an eraser built-in (it really should !!)

In the default Onyx Notes app, is there a way to quickly erase a handwritten letter, word, line, square ... whatever I just wrote last? The only way I know to erase is to change my tool to the eraser and then erase, then switch back to the pen I was using. The other way is to select with lasso tool to erase.

I wish there was a quicker way to switching to the eraser and back to the pen.

  We apologize for the inconvenience. We are sorry that the magnetic stylus that comes with the Nova Air doesn't have an eraser feature. And we are sorry that the only way to erase is to select the eraser in the toolbar. However, you could purchase the triangular stylus or BOOX Pen 2 Pro which has an eraser feature.
