Notes Created in Horizontal Split Screen: Canvas Problems

Hi all,

I hope a simple one.

If I create notepad in split-screen mode, the Max Lumi 2 seems to create padding above and below the template (1650x2200). The canvas is reported to be 1x1 when in splitscreen.

Then when I open the notepad in normal portrait single screen mode, the notepad is narrow and has a chequered box bar on the right-hand side. The canvas is now set to custom.

But, if I create a notepad in standard portrait single screen mode (canvas is 1x1), then I open a PDF and then switch horizontal split-screen, and then open that notepad, the template looks fine. The canvas is now custom but the chequered box is at the bottom, and toggling the toolbar makes that go away by way of an automatic zoom.

Then when I close it all down and open just the notepad in portrait single screen, the canvas is back to 1x1 and it looks perfect.

I can't get notepads created in horizontal split-screen to look right. I have submitted this to the feedback on Boox. This is making split screen on the Max Lumi 2 pretty useless.
