Vital Source Bookshelf

A quick question: the Vital Source Bookshelf app worked just fine on my original Boox Max. However, Google Play says it is incompatible with my brand new Max Lumi. This is a real blow because I have most of my books accessible only through Vital Source. Any suggestions why it is incompatible? Might this be fixed?

  Dear customer, we apologize for the inconvenience.

  In this case, please update the firmware for your Max Lumi and try again if it is possible to download it from the google play store. To update the firmware please go to "Settings" > "Firmware update".

  If that is still not working, please download the APK from the link: https://support.vitalsource.com/hc/en-us/articles/221184588-Bookshelf-for-Android-Installing-Bookshelf-on-Android-Devices-without-Google-Play- 

  And run the APK on the Max Lumi to install the Bookshelf app.
