Is it able to smoothly highlight selected texts in digitised printed books?

I’ve just bought boox nova air2, and it’s very useful to read textbooks and study. Thanks for creating such a wonderful gadget!! But I have a request about highlighting function with NeoReader. When I’m reading digitised printed books and try to highlight selected texts, several spaces are created according to OCR information. I would like to make a selected text into a connected highlighted line even in the case reading digitised printed books. Would you kindly consider this matter?
