Dear customer, we apologize for the inconvenience.

In this case, we suggest submitting feedback via "Settings" > "Feedback" on your device. Please make sure that you tick the option "send logs" while sending the Feedback so that we can analyze and diagnose the exact problem better. Our technical team will reply to you in 2 working days after you submit the Feedback.

Also, we suggest using BooxDrop or Dropbox to sync PDFs between your device and your computer. We tried to use BooxDrop to sync a PDF to a computer and it is able to see the annotations and handwriting notes in a PDF.

Many thanks for your time and understanding.

Hello. I'm quite sure that the issue has no link with sync, as it happens on the device itself before any attempt to sync files (even if the Boox tablet has no wi-fi connection) : all annotations disappear if I rename* the PDF file, and reappear if I rename it back to his original name.

I just sent a feedback as you advised. I attached logs. Hope to have some news from the technical team soon (I already received an automatic answer with advices, but they are not related at all to this issue).

For further details, here is the feedback I sent :

<<  Neoreader : tapping "embed PDF" export option seems to work (dialog window says it did succeed). But file's timestamp and weight remain unchanged. If I transfer the file to a computer and open it, i can't see any highlight or note made with neoreader. Worst : if I rename the file on Boox tablet using Amaze file manager and then open it in neoreader again, all highlight and notes are gone. If I give it back the previous name, everything reappears. It is obvious thatannotations have not been embed in the pdf. I really need that export option to work ("save as new pdf" export option works but it is way too much work to then move the exported file to the original file's locaion in order to replace it each time in want to save it...). Thank you. >>

*I'm talking about changing file's name, not about doing something with a shortcut-file or favourite of any kind. So I did this using a real Android file manager (and not the "Files" tab on the Boox UI).
