Pdf Notes bookmarks / text comments
I am Boox user for a long time (5 years). But I have always struggled with a basic requirement of interoperability of pdf notes on other devices. While I can save notes a pdf and see them on a computer. The notes app lacks a) bookmarks or b) comments feature or c) does not export text in readable form in pdf. This severely limits using pdf to search notes on PC mac or other devices. Over time I have created hundreds of notes or written on pdfs. These can only be searched on a Boox device and is painfully slow and does not scale when handling a library of 1000's of pdf documents.
The text created on the boox device if is saved as searchable text when exporting to pdf then it can be searched on PC/Mac etc. Also having a bookmark feature that can show as bookmarks on other devices is important when handling a book with lot of pages.
The only alternative that currently exists on Boox device is to search text notes on the boox device or search text with the help of AI recognition (the later is slow and I dont use it). This is ok while working on the device. But many times you want to access the pdf or manage several pdf on an another device (PC/Mac) and search for keyword or bookmarks. This is when the serious limitation shows up. This is a deal breaker when you want to manage a large collection of pdf files.
Has anyone found a alternative work around for this? I really wish Boox Notes creates a feature for exporting text and bookmarks in a searchable form on PC.

I'm having PDF related issues. I've synced my OneDrive with Boox (Note Air 1). I can open PDFs saved there and make notes on them / add comments / highlight.
But when I open the PDF on my laptop, only 1/2 of the comments and annotations are showing.
Essentially, I wanted a Boox for two reasons. (1) to write notes without needing to be at my laptop (this works well) and (2) to be able to read and annotate PDFs. Function 2 seems unreliable - unless someone can explain what I'm doing wrong?0
