Dear customer, we are afraid that the NeoReader does not support inserting images. However, we will forward your suggestion to our tech team and will do our best to improve the software of our device. We appreciate your feedback and understanding.

    Hello,

    thank you very much.
Is it possible to install another program as PDF reader or for editing with which I can do this?

    If yes, which one?

    Dear customer,

After checking, the Adobe Acrobat app allows editing and inserting a picture into a PDF. You could also transfer the PDF to your PC and insert images on your computer. After that, you could save this PDF and replace it with the original one. And then, you could view the PDFthat with the image added on your device.

Many thanks for your time and understanding.

    Hello,

    thank you very much.
I am very honored that you are looking for a solution in this way.

However, this is not a good everyday process that I can use to make sense.

I need to be able to insert an image directly while I am on the tablet and working on the note. This is essential for me, otherwise I don't finalize my notes.

Reworking on the computer by transferring back and forth and then remembering to insert an image is a workaround, but not efficient.
Much more it is really extremely time-consuming.

I really need a way to simply insert an image into a PDF. That is all I need.

Ask for some appropriate support here.

    Thanks a lot

    Hello,

for all who are reading along here:
I have found a workaround that works directly on the tablet until Boox integrates it into Neo Reader.

    You can do the following:
    1. in the notes, insert an image into a note.
    2. mark the image with the lasso
    3. click on "Copy" in the lasso function
    4. now switch to Neo Reader
    5. go to the scribble function
    6. then select the Lasso function
    7. now click on "Paste" in the drop-down menu of the Lasso function.

Now the image is in the PDF of the Neo Reader.

ATTENTION: If the image is resized, the aspect ratio is not kept, this can change then.

    Conclusion:
About this way it can work,
But the image may not fit in aspect ratio when resizing.

Since it is possible via this way, it would be great if Boox integrates the "Insert image" directly in Neo Reader.

    Thanks a lot
and good luck to all users.

This question was asked two years ago, and even now in 2025, we still cannot add any photos to PDFs. How is it possible that you want to improve Neo Reader to add photos or other PDF pages, but haven't done anything yet?
