Boox Note Air2 | Scratches on protective foil

Hey, I bought a Boox Note Air2 used and unfortunately found that there are scratches on the foil, which are visible when reading (shadows).
I was about to order a new one and then read that the foil of the Boox Note Air2 should not be removable. Is this true?
