Onyx BOOXPage 7 Security Issue: device will not accept Amazon Kindle app login password unless the entry is in "show password" mode
The Onyx BOOX Page 7 device will not accept my Amazon Kindle app login password unless the entry is in "show password" mode, which is a huge security concern for me, especially as I have no idea how much personal data is available to developers or third-parties of the developers. I have submitted a software request asking for this security bug to be fixed. In the meantime I'm reading from multiple user forums that they have either sold or given away their Onyx BOOX devices because security issues were of major concern. Obviously, I'm conflicted right now.
Note:
1) My Onyx BOOX Page 7 is running the current build: 2025-04-02_04-14_v4.0-rel_6d15a71551
2) I have installed and uninstalled the Amazon Kindle App several times without successfully solving the problem.
3) I have reviewed all the settings within the Onyx Boox Page 7 device as it relates specifically to the Amazon Kindle App (Kindle App Icon/Optimize) and have found nothing relating to password entry

Thank you for your prompt response. I've had a third-party attempt the log-in and it seems it may be a keyboard issue - meaning the selected device keyboard might not work for me. I will need to research which is most closely similar to a standard US keyboard to avoid similar problems with other application logins.
Aside from that, can you please confirm if personal data entered into my Onyx BOOX Page 7 device is fully encrypted or if personal information and/or credentials are shared back to the developers or third-parties? I love this device, but need your confirmation that data security is not an issue for users.
