Notes issues - Note Air 4C
When I use the notes app, some of my writing will randomly disappear. This could be a single character, or an entire line. It's never the same thing. When this happens, I need to change the page and go back to the previous page to retrieve my writing. If I keep on writing, the missing writing doesn't come back until I change the page.
Another issue is sometimes the screen won't recognize the first pen stroke in notes and it won't write anything. When this happens the screen auto-refreshes and then the pen works. Then the screen will sporadically auto-refresh when writing and cause the issue to keep happening over and over again. I've changed the pen nib multiple times. It's seated correctly and isn't dirty.
I have all of the AI recognition stuff off, the gestures are off, touch control is off to minimize the amount of issues I'm having. I changed it so the screen never auto-refreshes so that it doesn't glitch, but nothing seems to be making a difference. I feel like I've tried every iteration of toggles on and off to try and suss out what the problem is, and I'm left with nothing. A factory reset has done nothing.
The tablet worked flawlessly for the first year, now it's unbearable to use. When I use it in class, I need to write, rewrite, erase partial penstrokes due to the random screen refreshes, and constantly change pages and go back in order to just take notes. Something that's meant for productivity has become a major timesink. I'm better off just using a pen and paper again and lugging around giant notebooks.
