Manual Syncing
Sync the Reading Data
To manually sync your reading data, do the following:
1. Open the document in NeoReader.
2. Tap the center area to display the main menu.
3. Tap the Sync button in the upper area.

Sync the Source File
Since Firmware V4.1, you can now upload a document’s source file and its reading data to the cloud when switching between different BOOX devices.
1. In the Library, long-press a book, and enter the Sync tab.
2. Select the ONYX account you want to sync with, and turn on the Cloud Sync option.
3. Tap "Upload source file" to complete the process.
| Note: Make sure each document is 200MB or smaller. |
Local Library Backup
Enter Library > Tap Library Settings > Backup and Restore > Tap Local Backup and Restore
Since Firmware V4.1, you can now back up local book files along with their associated data—including notes, annotations, and reading themes, etc.
After the backup operation, a compressed file with the extension .booxc will be generated. You can transfer this file to another BOOX device and restore it there.

Sync with Third-party Cloud
To sync reading data for files in the integrated third-party cloud storage, do the following:
1. Log in to the same account and choose the same server for your BOOX devices.
2. Open the same files in the integrated third-party cloud storage, and they will be automatically recognized in the same directory of both devices.
