My Device Won’t Charge. What Should I Do?
Q: My device is not charging. How can I fix this issue?
A: If your device is not charging, please follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
-
Clean the Charging Port and Cable
-
Wipe the charging port to ensure it is free of dust, dirt, or other foreign objects.
-
Check that the charging head of the data cable is also clean.
-
Foreign objects in the charging port can affect charging and may cause abnormal power consumption.
-
-
Charge Using a Computer or Compatible Adapter
-
Connect your device to a computer or a compatible adapter with the correct output current and voltage.
-
Charge the device for several hours (a longer charging time is recommended).
-
Check if a battery icon appears on the screen to indicate that the device is charging.
-
Observe the charging light:
-
If the light is red, purple, or purplish-red, the device may have very low battery. Continue charging for a longer period.
-
-
-
Reactivate the Battery (If the Device Has Been Empty for a Long Time)
-
If the device has been in an empty state for an extended period, the battery may be deeply discharged.
-
To reactivate the battery:
-
Connect the device to a USB cable and charging plug.
-
Repeatedly plug and unplug the USB cable about 5 times.
-
Then, charge the device for 4-5 hours to see if the battery can be reactivated. If you continue to experience issues after following these steps, please contact our customer service here.
