BOOX Privacy: Do We Collect Your Personal Information?

BOOX does not collect users' personal information proactively under any circumstances. The only time BOOX may access data is when you tick the “Send Logs” option when submitting a Feedback, BOOX’s technical team can view your device’s operation logs, but they cannot access the contents of your documents or other personal files.

You can send feedback—even without logging into an ONYX BOOX account—so personal information is not mandatory for feedback submission. Only when you would like to submit a Feedback related to the software bugs, we might suggest that you send logs to us so that our technical team can check the previous operation logs to see how it goes and how to solve the exact bugs. Still, sending logs is entirely optional.
