Weird behaviour of the Notes app while streaming the screen
Hello,
I would like to give online lectures using my Boox Max 3, but the Notes app does not properly function when sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting. I had hope that the firmware update 3.0 would solve this problem, but unfortunately, it still persists.
When sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting and writing on the Notes app, a part of the screen does not respond. In addition, whatever I write on the responding part of the screen is added as a copy rotated by 90 degrees on top of everything. Sometimes, some regions of the screen get erased in that process; I cannot tell why.
So far, I was only able to use the following workaround presented by a user on reddit, to whom I am very thankful.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ereader/comments/fnxkep/using_boox_max3_as_a_whiteboard_for_teaching/
This, however, is not a satisfactory solution, as it requires to write on a prior created empty pdf-document using the Neo-reader. One looses the full functionality of the Notes app.
As a side note, there are reports that the whole problem does not affect the Max 2. For the Max 3 this is very real and restricting.

Hi,
I have a very similar use case and found a workaround with help from this thread:
https://help.boox.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360062226031-Screen-streaming-over-HTTP
Basically, it involves downloading the Screen Stream app and Rotation Control app. The drawback is that it only works in landscape mode, and the finished whiteboards cannot be edited properly when switching back to portrait mode (or exported properly to PDF).
A native solution for this from the Boox Team would be extremely appreciated and helpful, as it seems like a very popular feature request.

Hi,
I'm experiencing the same problem on my Max 3, that is: when using the Note app in screen sharing (Zoom app) my writing appears in a different place then where the stylus touches the Max.
This makes it unusable in this context which is a big drawback for me.
best wishes
Kai
