Cannot read Kindle books

Can SOMEONE help me? I downloaded the Kindle app and I can see books etc. but I cannot get access to my own purchased books. Somewhere there needs to be a link for Amazon to recognize the Boox as a device, but I cannot see how to do this. I have spent 10 hours researching this and have tried everything. I am disappointed to be having to return the Boox, as I like the device, but I REALLY need to be able to read my Kindle books. 

Thanks in advance for ANY help anyone can give me. I am sure it is something really simple that has to be enabled...

  I just entered my Kindle account information in the app to access my library.

  I don't think I had to do anything else.

  Thanks, Rodolphe. That is what everyone says. Clearly there is a glitch somewhere in that Amazon doesn't recognize my Boox as a device...
