Wi-Fi Connection Troubleshooting Guide
If you're experiencing Wi-Fi connection issues (for example, third-party apps are unable to connect to the internet and display "Network or Server Error," etc.), please try these steps in order:
1. Test Another Network
Try connecting to:
A different Wi-Fi network.
A mobile hotspot (from your phone).
2. Verify Date & Time Settings
Go to:
Tab Series: Settings > System Settings > Date and Time.
Other Models: Settings > Date & Time.
Toggle "Automatically set Date and Time" (ON/OFF).
Ensure the time zone and local time are correct.
3. Reboot & Reconnect
Restart your BOOX device and router.
Forget the Wi-Fi network:
Long-press the network name > Select "Do not save".
Reconnect by re-entering the password.
4. Check Router Settings
Remove special characters from your Wi-Fi name (SSID).
Ensure your BOOX device’s MAC address is not blocked by the router.
Find MAC Address:
Tab Series: Go to Settings > About Device > WLAN MAC Address.
Other Models: Located at the top of the Settings page.
